First heard of ITN through The Haunted Dancehall, which is one of my fave tracks of all time, although now think that Weatherall is a wanker..
Enough!
I look forward to many more great releases. Just got import copies of Praha 1 and Asphalt.

Dear ITN;
I've been in the ITN camp (if you will) since the release of "Stormhorse" back in the mid-eighties. You've heard from me on a number of occassions whenever the inspiration takes me. Well, here we go again...Going into work one morning last week I happened upon a track from the 'Deco" cd. The usual, let's say ITN EFFECT took place. That is to say, lean back, let the music embrace you. In here is a place of profound beauty and security. Something far beyond the conscious mind stirs. It's gone all too fleetingly, but that charged feeling lasts.
During my 39 years I have come to appreciate and love nearly all music, but none so much as the music of In the Nursery.
Thanks again for the continued journey.
Hi! I was in Germany 15 months ago and quite by chance discovered that there was a music in the world which could not escape from my soul from the first moment I heard it. I mean "L'Esprit". Unfortunately, I didnt manage to buy it in time and then I had to go back to Russia. And here I cannot get it, because our shops dont have it.If somebody could send me this CD, I would be happy. I can send you any CD from Russia. My address: 614068 Russia,Perm,Kommunisticheskaja 117-715, Vlad Vorobiov
Today I found the Brazilian Issue (2521)CD "COMPOSITE" by "In The Nursery". I love this music! At 52 Yrs old, I am delighted to discover these new sounds. I cannot read the printed booklet in the CD case due to the unfortunate use of white ink on yellow gackground. Please do not let this concept become your "artistic signature" it's so hard to read that I become frustrated and unhappy. I'll bet that was not your intent, but that is the result of using LOW Contrast "Stylish" inks. I am sorry to bitch like this, but I thought you might like to know. Thanks for the wonderful Music! I'll look for more of your work.
11 years and counting....taken all my 16 ITN CD'S to Taiwan...hope I can find the new one here soon...all the best and ni hao from Taipei...
It's a really beautiful and useful site. Everyone should take at look!
Hail from Poland! For me ITN is v.Cool. The best album is "Anatomy Of A Poet". Którzy b³¹dzicie posród nocnych cieni, b¹d¿cie pozdrowieni...
In the Nursery... you're breeding dreams an incredible voyages with your music. Never took much joys ready C.H. Cherryh fantasy books than with your music playing !
the music you have created is truly etheric, haunting in it's beauty yet, with each ensuing album your audience and fan base increases. since I heard ITN on the compilation mindfield I have been listening ever since for more to come. TO both brothers I say thank you for letting those of us who know what music should feel like, as well as create for the movie of the mind..
may this music enchant those who hear it, and may those who say it is not music... may it in turn, change their veiws, and outlooks on it .
Gott.
HI EVERYBODY,
I am probably the newest fan of ITN. I have only heard two of their songs and both while watching "La Femme Nikita." I completely fell in love with the song "Woman" and couldn't stop humming it for two months. I was obsessed with finding out who this great band was, but the closing credits of the show didn't have the info listed. I finally found out who you guys were five days ago on the web page for the show and special ordered your DECO CD from Blockbuster Music. I'm still waiting for it to arrive but I am sure I'm going to love it. Thank God I found you guys because I am tired of the same old music that always plays on American radio. I have already told a few of my friends about you and we are all going to get together and listen to your CD when it gets here. It takes something very special to catch my attention like this music did and this is my first compliment to a band I have ever taken the time to write. I am an 18 year old female and I live in Southern California. I attend USC and I'm sure we'd love to have you guys on campus. A lot of different bands play on our campus but I'm sure you guys would bring the whole University down if you were here. If your ever in the neighborhood, drop on by. I hope you guys are planning to tour LA, if so please notify me, your newest fan. Thanks.

Hi,
I feel sort of desperate, for I have JUST seen Klive & Nigel playing live, in front of me,
@ the Leeds international film performing the soundrack for "Asphalt", and yet the only
thing I thought of saying, when, grapping my courage with both hands to speak to them was:
"What is Les Jumeaux to ITN? ...Because I was slightly disapointed by the tracks in Cobalt
...If I may". Pretty silly, huh? Well, the thing is, I just didn't want to sound like another
foolish fan in front of them. Therefore, I tried the reverse way, and hence found myself stuck
with the stupid sentence and nothing else to say. So I tried another catchphrase to let them
know about my genuine interest in their musique, which is indeed so intense that they happen
to be the only band the albums of which I keep on buying. Hey, i hardly ever buy any CD... So
K & N, should you come to read this, and remind me, please accept my most sincere apologies for
saying what I say. I was just not ready to meet you, "at last", after so long.
Sorry
Ever since 1988 (KODA) a big fan of ITN. Does anybody know more bands with such kind of music? I looking for more music from 'Dead in June', if you know please contact me.
Hi world.
I`m glad to sign here as guest, and it`s couse "Les Jumeaux" is the best. Pray for this, and You get all, that You want. I`d like to say: Thanks for this music, couse it`s timeless.
See all.
Maaris (Riga, Latvia)

Michel
one word : Wonderfull more senses, and before listen ITN, take a deep breath.
Will ITN ever play in Holland again? I wonder.
I live and breathe your compositions, be it ITN or Les Jemeaux. Few pieces of art have affected me so deeply. Thanks for the journey
ich bin ein absoluter ITN Fan ! Ich suche noch das "Cherished Dreams"-Promo Video
Ive spent years looking for a discography and lyrics and now i have found it its depressing knowing i will never get all there stuff!!!!!
Les Jumeaux- great, great stuff. More in the worx I hope?? ......Collin
I only discovered ITN a couple years ago, and I'm glad I did, even though I've only heard one album. I'm hoping to find more, now that I know more is available. Please visit me at my homepage.
Ah, what can I say? Since Nigel sent me the Deco cd, I have been enchanted. One of my favorite songs was played on La Femme Nikita, the TV show, and Nigel emailed me and said I missed ITN in the credits for the music that played on LFN. Now we are trying to work out an interview on IRC or by email. Since I am redoing my page, here is what I am writing for an intro to the Deco wav files Im making: The deeply felt, harmonious notes that have become the trademark of ITN worldwide have blended with the sweet, timeless notes of the oboe and flute, drums, and trambones to grace the almbum Deco. Almost tangible webs of emotion could be felt in the music, from 18th century tollbells to new age alternative all in one album, mixed with the sultry, sweet voice of Dolores Margureite C., Deco brings new meaning and life to the classical notes.
Hi there,
I remain deeply impressed by your latest musical experiments. I hope that you'll release something new under the name IN THE NURSERY, although the live album from Prague seems to be a pretty good concept. I'm just sitting down to writing an article about you.
best regards
Batman of R.A.K. Radio
Hi Klive, I'm here writing you form the PC of a friend of mine... have you received the tapes and the letter? Here's very hot, you know, unbearable... hope you're doing well... just waiting for your letter. Bye amigo.
Well, what can be said that has not already been stated - and more eloquently - by others?
Thank you for 10+ years of wonderful music. Every release is something new to look forward to. I doubt you will ever tour here (Australia), however you do have many fans here. (I like to think I've converted quite a few people to ITN over the years).
Thanks again,
Luke Manning
I was on Melrose in Los Angeles shopping the other day, and stopped before a small boutique... upon entering, I encountered the most ethreal, transcendent music that I'd ever heard.... I asked the shopkeeper the name of the band, and just discovered this web site.... this will definitely be the starting point for quite a musical experience.
Well, what can I say that matches what I feel? The music is pure poetry; the feeling - legendary. I am tired of living in a country where only crap tours. Please come alleviate this situation as soon as humanly possible!! To everyone in Europe: You are lucky. We do not get such good shows on such frequent occasion.
Just want to say hello ! I'm looking forward to see you in germany again in the next time. By the way, are there plans for a tour in germany ?
Outstanding! Tours, tours, tours. When are they? Could you add such a topic to your homepage?
V/R,
Justin (Germany)
Rarely have heard music so unqiue and profound. Don't stop!
Thanks for your site. We have been following your music since 1986 and now we run a label in the same spirit (ethereal voices and musics)... Please visit our home pages http://www.mygale.org/01/prikos
Ahh ! I can see the CD recorded here in Prague is finally out... I'll never stop cursing the day 9.9.1994 because I couldn't be there... I wonder when the CD arives somewhere close to me..
Excellent music!! Looking forward to the new releases. Olaf from Germany.
For the devoted in America: What USA outlet can we inquire to about obtaining more of the great sounds... We live in the dark without...walking without sound in a fast paced world...only the music and my muse keep me sane then there is the candle light so bright from "In The Nursery" then silence.
Nigel&Klive...
I became hooked when I picked up L'Espirit, not knowing what to expect. Well, my heart fell, my lips drew cold. Everything I heard tore through me and I became a phantom...enchanted. A little overdramatic, but nothing can satiate me like In The Nursery. And despite the near impossibility to acquire ITN in my location, my devotion will not wane. I'm far from having everything, according to the discography, but while listening...time is endless, so there's still time.

A quick note, since it's my first visit. Just purchased the new album 'Cobalt', excellent.
Saw ITN at the Showroom, superb evening.I hope you pencil in Sheffield for your next tour.
Martin (Sheffield, England)
An acquantaince of mine in Germany introduced me to the music of ITN. I was looking for some more info on them, as record stores here in the US haven't been too helpful, and came across you page. Great info! Thanks!
T.
hello there,
i just discovered the ITN-site. Amazing. Frustrating too, that's to say when i saw the discography. I only have a few records (Prelude, Stormhorse and Koda) and 12 Cd's. Big question: are Prelude and Stormhorse (still) available ond CD? I'd like to have them. Last question: can we see ITN in Holland again. For me it's been six years ago since I saw ITN for the last time (Sense-release 1991). Before that I saw the 'Koda-tour'. Both very impressive.
best regards
peter, leiden, holland
To The Faithful-- keeping the faith. ITN are masters of inspiration. I only wish there was more of their older sound (Sense) available.
Hey ! The new look looks realy nice ! Better than the old I think.. :) I think I'll reply to your e-mail now... *S*
What a peice of work is man. How noble in reason. Blah Blah Blah..
Excellent new look!

The '86 compilation "From Torture to Conscience" ....is it still in print/and or available?
I just wanted to pop in and say how much I enjoy ITN, I stumbled on ITN music while visiting in Hong Kong. I currently live in Asia, and I like the exposure to certain music, that is NOT as accessible in the U.S.
Great Site, great music ! please visit also our site: Prager Handgriff homepage
Good to see you still busy. Hope you will still rise from strength to strength. I don't think the London shops do a very good job at stocking your corporation releases, let's try and push them a bit. Is The Cabinet Of Doctor Caligari coming out on video ?
You guys are in a classification all your own, how about modern-classical? I would also love to see you here in the U.S.
Between Urge & Wisdom, lesson III Ñ the passionate souls reach the infinite. Thanks for all those years of inspiration, of tenderness. The light still shines in the silent eyes of a boy walking while the world's asleep. Fondest to you. Ever.
Greetings from Walkley Nigel!!!!!
Well hello popsters! Here I am being paid to surf the Internet for a day - can't be bad hey what?! Time to go now - I have to go and paint the roses red!
See y'all at the Everyman.
My first ITN gig! (after 14 years of devotion!) I'm so excited! Midnight, though??? Hoping to catch the goths on their way out, perhaps? :0)
Clive,
Evil C
I know you since the "Cherished dreams" times, but only in the last period I've really appreciated your work.
I'm also doing a webzine called Chain The Door
(http://www.ipsnet.it/netpages/room343/) who talks about goth/electro/industrial music.
I'd like to do something about you. Please conctact me at my e-mail address. Anyway I think we'll see at the Torino gig.
All the best
Maurizio

'The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari' is really a worthy soundtrack for this early masterpiece of the movie world. I love to listen to it, especially when I am reading Nietzsche or learning Old Englisch, because of its ability to create a mystic athmosphere and cold distance at the same time. Thank you for this great piece of music! BTW, have you thought about composing a sountrack for the original Nosferatu-movie? I have seen this movie without music, accompanied by an orchestra and accomanied by a piano only. IMHO a score from ITN would revive this legendary movie to new heights. One more thing: Will you be coming to Germany this year?
All the best,
Alexander
Greetings from Berlin to Klive and Nigel,
i´m listening to your music for years and i liked every cd. I especially enjoy the more classical instrumental works preforably with Instruments like cello, oboe, flute etc. I very much appreciated "deco" and the new tracks on "scatter", which contain brilliant classical works.
Sometimes i don´t like the (hip hop) drums or the voice of dolores or the technoesque tracks on Les Jumeaux. I´m looking forward the next itn cd. I would especially appreciate if you would work with classical singers (like the style of Lisa Gerrard).
Keep on writing
Gabriel Seiberth
how 'bout some wav files of your music?
Hello,
Looking forward to seeing you at Everyman on March 1st.
P.S. Greetings from Gavin B.
Thank you for 10 years of inspiring music and the patience to try keeping a complete discography in the States.
Hi there, just wanted to thank you for letting me work with you on the "Roughcut" project. I hope to receive the DAT in a few days, and I will start working as soon as I get it. I will treat "Miracle Road" with the respect it deserves, but you won't recognize it. You will hear the finished version by the end of Feb. Bye!
i'm surfing....so greeting....have you received the promo copy of POW compilation? bye
Cumon guys it's about time you let me work with you on a new album. Twins seems such a long time ago! AND you're taking Captain James T. Ghengis Attilla Kirk with you to Italy - you tarts. God I'm missing van fever and Q's socks!!
I don't know if there is anything I could say about ITN... Maybe: They are not even the best, they are not even the GODS, they are... I like them very much.. :)
Hi. I just saw in the "News" section of your homepage that you may come to Brazil. Please, do! This is also to wish you a Happy New Year (a bit late, though...). May you keep releasing this absolutely great albums for many years! Thanks for the music.
Didn't like Prelude; Love Sense, Le'spirit, Duality, am looking for more. How can twins collaborate so well? My twin and I generally want to kill each other when we're together... Maybe I'll send him some ITN.
Salut. Je viens de voir le dernier David Lynch. A quand une collaboration avec le plus genial des groupes et le plus merveilleux des realisateurs. Merci pour votre gentille lettre.
I've been a fan of ITN since 1991 and your music has really been an influence on my own musical creations. I would just like to thank you for enriching various periods of my life.
One of the best bands I have ever heard! I only wish that they would come to America.. Atlanta to be specific.. Sigh..
Hope you got my Christmas-Card ...
Only known about you since Aug 95. It was your track 'Sixth Sense' from Scatter that was on a Future Music cover CD that instantly got me hooked. It's good to hear some different (excellent) music for a change.
Just a short hello. Keep up the good work. See yah in April (hopefully).
Bravo pour votre musique et pour le site en souhaitant qu'il dure longtemps. Bon courage !
i.t.n. are without a doubt one of the most creative and underrrated groups to rise from the ashes of the British Industrial scene of the 80's. Long overdue for the proper credit they so richly deserve.
Hello! Good to see that ITN's unique brilliance is being recognized by a fair share of my fellow 'merkins. This is a brilliant and wonderfully thorough resource for any fan -- any plans to add RealAudio for newbie visitors? Well done! gz
Happy New Year to Klive & Nigel and wish both of you have a new idea on your works in this year.
