Dear ITN;
I've been in the ITN camp (if you will) since the release of "Stormhorse" back in the mid-eighties. You've heard from me on a number of occassions whenever the inspiration takes me. Well, here we go again...Going into work one morning last week I happened upon a track from the 'Deco" cd. The usual, let's say ITN EFFECT took place. That is to say, lean back, let the music embrace you. In here is a place of profound beauty and security. Something far beyond the conscious mind stirs. It's gone all too fleetingly, but that charged feeling lasts. During my 39 years I have come to appreciate and love nearly all music, but none so much as the music of In the Nursery.

Thanks again for the continued journey.

Hi! I was in Germany 15 months ago and quite by chance discovered that there was a music in the world which could not escape from my soul from the first moment I heard it. I mean "L'Esprit". Unfortunately, I didnt manage to buy it in time and then I had to go back to Russia. And here I cannot get it, because our shops dont have it.If somebody could send me this CD, I would be happy. I can send you any CD from Russia. My address: 614068 Russia,Perm,Kommunisticheskaja 117-715, Vlad Vorobiov

Today I found the Brazilian Issue (2521)CD "COMPOSITE" by "In The Nursery". I love this music! At 52 Yrs old, I am delighted to discover these new sounds. I cannot read the printed booklet in the CD case due to the unfortunate use of white ink on yellow gackground. Please do not let this concept become your "artistic signature" it's so hard to read that I become frustrated and unhappy. I'll bet that was not your intent, but that is the result of using LOW Contrast "Stylish" inks. I am sorry to bitch like this, but I thought you might like to know. Thanks for the wonderful Music! I'll look for more of your work.

the music you have created is truly etheric, haunting in it's beauty yet, with each ensuing album your audience and fan base increases. since I heard ITN on the compilation mindfield I have been listening ever since for more to come. TO both brothers I say thank you for letting those of us who know what music should feel like, as well as create for the movie of the mind..

may this music enchant those who hear it, and may those who say it is not music... may it in turn, change their veiws, and outlooks on it .

HI EVERYBODY,

I am probably the newest fan of ITN. I have only heard two of their songs and both while watching "La Femme Nikita." I completely fell in love with the song "Woman" and couldn't stop humming it for two months. I was obsessed with finding out who this great band was, but the closing credits of the show didn't have the info listed. I finally found out who you guys were five days ago on the web page for the show and special ordered your DECO CD from Blockbuster Music. I'm still waiting for it to arrive but I am sure I'm going to love it. Thank God I found you guys because I am tired of the same old music that always plays on American radio. I have already told a few of my friends about you and we are all going to get together and listen to your CD when it gets here. It takes something very special to catch my attention like this music did and this is my first compliment to a band I have ever taken the time to write. I am an 18 year old female and I live in Southern California. I attend USC and I'm sure we'd love to have you guys on campus. A lot of different bands play on our campus but I'm sure you guys would bring the whole University down if you were here. If your ever in the neighborhood, drop on by. I hope you guys are planning to tour LA, if so please notify me, your newest fan. Thanks.

Hi,
I feel sort of desperate, for I have JUST seen Klive & Nigel playing live, in front of me, @ the Leeds international film performing the soundrack for "Asphalt", and yet the only thing I thought of saying, when, grapping my courage with both hands to speak to them was: "What is Les Jumeaux to ITN? ...Because I was slightly disapointed by the tracks in Cobalt ...If I may". Pretty silly, huh? Well, the thing is, I just didn't want to sound like another foolish fan in front of them. Therefore, I tried the reverse way, and hence found myself stuck with the stupid sentence and nothing else to say. So I tried another catchphrase to let them know about my genuine interest in their musique, which is indeed so intense that they happen to be the only band the albums of which I keep on buying. Hey, i hardly ever buy any CD... So K & N, should you come to read this, and remind me, please accept my most sincere apologies for saying what I say. I was just not ready to meet you, "at last", after so long. Sorry

Ah, what can I say? Since Nigel sent me the Deco cd, I have been enchanted. One of my favorite songs was played on La Femme Nikita, the TV show, and Nigel emailed me and said I missed ITN in the credits for the music that played on LFN. Now we are trying to work out an interview on IRC or by email. Since I am redoing my page, here is what I am writing for an intro to the Deco wav files Im making: The deeply felt, harmonious notes that have become the trademark of ITN worldwide have blended with the sweet, timeless notes of the oboe and flute, drums, and trambones to grace the almbum Deco. Almost tangible webs of emotion could be felt in the music, from 18th century tollbells to new age alternative all in one album, mixed with the sultry, sweet voice of Dolores Margureite C., Deco brings new meaning and life to the classical notes.

Nigel&Klive...
I became hooked when I picked up L'Espirit, not knowing what to expect. Well, my heart fell, my lips drew cold. Everything I heard tore through me and I became a phantom...enchanted. A little overdramatic, but nothing can satiate me like In The Nursery. And despite the near impossibility to acquire ITN in my location, my devotion will not wane. I'm far from having everything, according to the discography, but while listening...time is endless, so there's still time. r1334

hello there,
i just discovered the ITN-site. Amazing. Frustrating too, that's to say when i saw the discography. I only have a few records (Prelude, Stormhorse and Koda) and 12 Cd's. Big question: are Prelude and Stormhorse (still) available ond CD? I'd like to have them. Last question: can we see ITN in Holland again. For me it's been six years ago since I saw ITN for the last time (Sense-release 1991). Before that I saw the 'Koda-tour'. Both very impressive. best regards

'The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari' is really a worthy soundtrack for this early masterpiece of the movie world. I love to listen to it, especially when I am reading Nietzsche or learning Old Englisch, because of its ability to create a mystic athmosphere and cold distance at the same time. Thank you for this great piece of music! BTW, have you thought about composing a sountrack for the original Nosferatu-movie? I have seen this movie without music, accompanied by an orchestra and accomanied by a piano only. IMHO a score from ITN would revive this legendary movie to new heights. One more thing: Will you be coming to Germany this year?

All the best,

Alexander

Greetings from Berlin to Klive and Nigel,

i´m listening to your music for years and i liked every cd. I especially enjoy the more classical instrumental works preforably with Instruments like cello, oboe, flute etc. I very much appreciated "deco" and the new tracks on "scatter", which contain brilliant classical works.

Sometimes i don´t like the (hip hop) drums or the voice of dolores or the technoesque tracks on Les Jumeaux. I´m looking forward the next itn cd. I would especially appreciate if you would work with classical singers (like the style of Lisa Gerrard).

Keep on writing
