Temper
Whilst playing at a concert in Hammersmith, London - ITN were seen by Rob
Deacon, then creator of the Abstract record/fanzine. He immediately asked
for the inclusion of `Sentient' as a `secret' track on Abstract 5, followed
by the financing of `Temper'. Recorded at Vibrasound in Sheffield, and
engineered by the infamous Snake, 'Temper' was released at the height of
what was later termed the UK's `Industrial Music Scene'. New sampling
technology was just being used, and abused, and ITN took full advantage of
this. But despite being the start of a new era of recordings for the
Sweatbox label, it also saw the departure of original member Ant Bennett
who left to pursue other musical ventures and career work.
